501c3 IRS tax-exempt status, nonprofit incorporation for Christian/Messianic ministries, churches, schools

This file photo was taken in approximately 1985 for the Trumpet, a bimonthly publication going out to all churches and Christian businesses in San Diego County, California.

Christian Lawyers Association did evangelistic work in the legal community. One project was to send an envelope of hay to the approximately 7000 lawyers along with the scripture about "wood, hay and stubble." One judge's bailiff called and asked if it was marijuana. An attorney called, angrily complaining that the hay was all over his desk and computer. Postcards were inserted in the envelope making it easy for the recipient to contact Christian Lawyers for spiritual follow-up.

We serve the Christian community as well as others

tax-exempt-status.com.

We began in 1981 with Christian Lawyers Association, a Christian law firm in San Diego, California.

We originally had only one web site, elshaddai.com, and we served only Christian missions, ministries, churches and Christian schools. But before too long, other Christians heard about our service and wanted our help with other types of nonprofits. So we opened our service to Christians who wanted help with more secular nonprofits, rodeos for example. Then even those who were not Christians heard about our service and wanted help with their nonprofits. So we created another web site (tax-exempt-status.com) for these clients, and we revised all our material (culling out the scriptural content, which was pervasive throughout our elshaddai.com service).

This worked fine for a while, but finally, we found that having two web sites and providing all our material in duplicate was too much of a burden. So we had to merge our elshaddai.com web site into our tax-exempt-status.com web site. And we merged all our materials as well.

So now we offer everything through the tax-exempt-status.com web site. Same people, same quality, and better quality really, since we are constantly improving our system.
